About Terri Baun
A professional educator who is adept in multiple academic disciplines is a rare find. Whereas most educators specialize in one content area, Terri Baun is the exception as an expert in both the verbal (English/reading/grammar) and quantitative (math) areas, as well as in the field of academic and personal counseling. Terri’s 33+ year career as a teacher, tutor, guidance counselor, and coach has taken her to different parts of the country, from small-town central Florida to inner city Richmond, Virginia, to virtual school education, teaching students from around the world. As found of A to Zebra Tutoring Services (DBA The College Prep Zone), a successful and longstanding business, Terri is recognized as a leading expert in preparing students for their future. She has an exemplary reputation for helping teens accomplish their goals and aspirations, having spent the last 26 years researching and teaching SAT/ACT prep and college-level English and math in her full-time tutoring business. With master’s degrees in Education and Guidance Counseling, Terri has inspired hundred of teens to maximize their potential, to believe in themselves, and to leave no stone unturned on their way to a promising future.
For teens to experience success, Terri feels that they must believe and be engaged in the system presented to them.
